MEET THE TEAM
Julie Findlay (B.Com, CA)
Julie formed the company in 2005. She has over 30 years experience in the profession. Julie loves working with all our clients. She is passionate about the Xero accounting software package and thrives on training and helping clients grow their businesses.
Julie graduated with a B.Com from Otago in 1990, she attained her Chartered Accountants Qualification (CA) three years later. Julie has worked with larger accountancy practices in Dunedin and Invercargill before doing her OE and working in various roles in London.
Julie has two children - Rebecca and Lucy, and can be found mountainbiking on the many tracks around our region.
Jane Everest (B.Com)
Jane has been with the firm since 2013. She loves working with Xero and assists in financial accounts preparation for our small to medium businesses.
Jane has a B Com. from the University of Otago and vast experience in the accounting profession. She has worked for Chartered Accounting firms, moving to the UK to take on a management accounting role, and returning to New Zealand again working in the management accounting arena.
Jane has three children, Daniel, Ben and Lily and the beautiful Luna, a border collie.
In her spare time, Jane loves socialising, swimming and spending time with her family. Jane and Julie combined in 2015 to compete in the Wanaka Challenge Ironman.
Jane has a very bubbly and outgoing personality and makes our workplace a lot of fun.
Katie Robertson
Katie joined the firm early in 2018. She is the payroll and GST go to girl whilst providing Julie and Jane support with all other administration roles.
Katie and her hu sband Nigel run a successful construction business which sees Katie in the office at home too. She has much experience in small business Finance and Administration.
Children Abbey and Lucas keep Katie and Nigel on their toes!
In her spare time Katie enjoys competing in adventure races.
Kerry Smith
Kerry joined the firm at the most critical time, five days before Covid lockdown in 2020.
Kerry has worked for Chartered Accounting firms with a large range of duties being auditing, statistics, annual accounts and GST for at least 30 years.
Kerry did take a break from the accounting world to take up a business role of owning her own shoe shop, Not Just Shoes.
In her spare time Kerry enjoys golfing, walking Roxy her Tri Shih Tzu dog and spending time with her partner Paddy and friends.
