MEET THE TEAM
Julie Findlay (B.Com, CA)
Julie formed the company in 2005. She has over 25 years experience in the profession. Julie loves working with all our clients. She is passionate about the Xero accounting software package and thrives on training and helping clients grow their businesses.
Julie graduated with a B.Com from Otago back in 1990, she attained her Chartered Accountants Qualification (CA) some three years later. Julie has worked with larger accountancy practices in Dunedin and Invercargill before doing her OE and working in various roles in London.
Julie has two children - Rebecca and Lucy, and together with her partner James can be often found mountainbiking on the many tracks around our region.
Jane Everest (B.Com)
Jane has been with the firm for 3 years. She loves working with Xero and assists in financial accounts preparation for our small to medium businesses.
Jane has a B Com. from the University of Otago and vast experience in the accounting profession. She has worked for Chartered Accounting firms, moving to the UK to take on a management accounting role, and returning to New Zealand again working in the management accounting arena.
Jane is married to Riki and has three children, Daniel, Ben and Lily. A recent addition to their whanau is Pepper the border collie.
In her spare time, Jane loves socialising, swimming and spending time with her family. Jane and Julie combined in 2015 to compete in the Wanaka Challenge Ironman.
Jane has a very bubbly and outgoing personality and makes our workplace a lot of fun.
Sheryl Stark
Sheryl has been with us for 5 years. She is our payroll and GST expert and provides essential backup for Julie and Jane in various administration roles.
Sheryl has previous experience working within small businesses and also in chartered accountants' offices – providing support in the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll areas.
Sheryl is married to Andrew and has three children, Nicole, Adele and Hayley.
Sheryl’s spare time is busy supporting Andrew and the girls in their various sporting activities.
Sheryl is a very capable and dependable member of our team.
